Is a government shutdown coming and is Mike Michaud running?

The Maine State Employees Association is asking for a meeting with Governor Paul LePage to discuss what plans there are for a possible partial shutdown of State Government, if a new 2-year budget can’t be arrived at by July 1, the beginning of the fiscal year. Meanwhile, rumors abound over whether a prominent democrat will challenge LePage in the 2014 election.

We discuss these topics and more with our political analysts, republican Phil Harriman and democrat Ethan Strimling.
