Strimling & Harriman analyze the Governor’s race polling

A new poll on where the current candidates stand in the race to be Maine’s next governor has some interesting numbers. The poll was conducted by Public Policy Polling and asks, if election day were tomorrow, for whom would the respondent vote?

It shows that, if it were a three person race between the major candidates who have announced they’re running, one of them clearly has some ground to make up.  It gets even more interesting if voters had only two of the three candidates to chose from.

And finally, it has the first solid numbers about whether Democratic candidate, Rep. Mike Michaud, helped or hurt his campaign a week ago when he announced that he is gay.

We talk about it all with political analysts Phil Harriman and Ethan Strimling.
